Cavaliers make great companions. You can expect a life span of 10 to 14 years. Of course , all breeds –like all humans– have health problems, but on the whole the Cavalier is a sound, outgoing companion.
If all the correct health indications are there (glossy coat, bright eyes, proportionate body, and wagging tail–all signs of health and well-being), then choosing a puppy is a matter of personal choice, depending on preference for gender. You might be influenced by color, marking or facial expression, or by a particularly playful character. Or you just might find that your puppy chooses you!
